A protest against three G4S security guards being found not guilty of the manslaughter of a man they were deporting has taken place in London. Jimmy died on a Heathrow flight in 2010.
Three private security guards who restrained the Angolan deportee Jimmy Mubenga have been cleared of manslaughter by a jury at the Old Bailey. Jimmy died in October 2010.
Stuart Tribelnig, the senior of three G4S guards, told a court that he did not force Jimmy Mubenga’s head down during the struggle after which he died.
